After doing all conceptual drawings involving various iterations and options; now, it’s time to create a model of your Kitchen.
But having so many options of modelling tools may confuse you.
AutoCAD 3d, SketchUp, FormIt, Rhino, Revit, 3Ds Max etc are some of the options to choose from.
If you want to create a parametric Kitchen in under 10 minutes, which can also be used for working drawings at a later stage, Revit is the best option.
Watch out the video to know more:
Modelling a kitchen in Revit will innovate the following steps:
Step 1 : Create Walls adjoining the Kitchen Slab lets say L-Shaped.
Step 2 : Create Reference planes (to be used as construction lines) depicting the width of each kitchen cabinet
Step 3 : Use a parametric Kitchen cabinet family and use the drag points to adjust the sizes according to the reference planes
Step 4 : Adjust the Height of the Cabinet and delete the reference planes
Step 5 : Attach a stone top family over the Cabinets
And your Kitchen is ready.
Later you may use the same model to generate Elevations, Sections and Plans.
